In early 2017 we began the planning of a dream vacation to the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i.
Rules were altered, made up and broken many times but play continued with Norm taking the crown as overall champion
Canada Day was nice and warm so we headed out for a morning paddle and swim in Thetis Lake.
Nothing kicks off summer like paddle boarding, swimming in the ocean and lake, water gun fights and watching the sun go down after a bbq.
Friday flex day and we were back on the slopes for round two. Sunshine on the lower slopes and fog up at the peak with nicely groomed runs. Zero crowds put a smile on everyone's face. This time we were able to convince Norm (the orange flash) to join us and the 20 odd years he was off the skis didn't seem to slow him down at all.
